Manila Grand Opera Hotel shined at its brightest last June 29, 2010 when Fortune Medicare Inc., set on for their 25th Year Anniversary Gala and Awards Night.

Fortune CARE has been one of the consistent leaders in the Managed Care Organization (MCO) industry for 25 years now and it is indeed worthy of a celebration. Hosted by Actor & TV Host, Mr. RJ Ledesma together with Dr. Marichu L. Catan, Fortune CARE's SVP for Medical Affairs and Medical Director, the ceremony started through a Black Theater presentation of the song “We are the Reason” performed by selected Fortune CARE employees. The performance was a perfect start off and truly goes well with the appreciation theme of the night.

The program started with the formal launching of the 25th Year Annivesary Logo and welcome speech from Mr. J. Antonio A. Cabangon Jr., the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Fortune CARE. Mr. Cabangon expressed his beatitude and appreciation to all the employees of Fortune CARE whom he considered as the greatest asset of the company. His introduction to the brilliant mind behind the company's success, no less than his father, Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Chua was deemed remarkable. Amb.Cabangon Chua shared the milestones of Fortune CARE, how it was conceived out of his burning desire to help other people by providing access to affordable and extensive healthcare services. Clearly, his success and Fortune CARE's progress are the product of their compassion through their humble beginnings.

To recognize the commitment given to the company, awards were given to valuable partner providers, sales associates, employees and members who kept their loyalty with Fortune CARE for almost 25 years. Fortune CARE was able to nurture trustworthy individuals who invested with them and, with no doubt, helped out in bringing the company to where it is right now. Dr. Ernesto V. Benesa was awarded as the Principal Doctor-Honoree and Mr. Allan B. Celosa as the lone Principal 25 Year Loyalty Awardee for Employees. Surprised and overjoyed, Mr. Cabangon was also awarded as well as Mrs. Dorothea J. Sibal, President and COO for their significant years with the company. Appreciation awards were given to Fortune CARE's loyal members for almost 25 years and Recognition Awards were handed to 2009 Annual Sales Winners.

 

The true essence of the celebration was to recognize every single contribution of outstanding people of Fortune CARE as well as those who gave their efforts having been part of the company. Everyone reminisced and looked back to their memories through an Audio-Visual presentation of departed employees who have contributed to Fortune CARE's current success while listening to the heart-warming interpretation of the song “Special Memory” by Fortune CARE La Diva.

The culmination of the celebration was the toast led by Mrs. Sibal as she enjoined everyone to continue to face the challenges ahead and finish the race by keeping the faith. A toast of excellence to another 25 years of learning experience, a toast of happiness to another 25 years of bonding moments and a toast of success to the next 25 years of Fortune CARE in the industry, together they said, cheers!

The celebration was really well prepared and every member of the family engaged to come up with a wonderful evening. Distinguished guests including clients, accredited medical providers, sales associates/partners and officers of Fortune CARE's sister companies joined the celebration as well. Production numbers of Clinic Operations Managers and Staff, Head Office Staff, Officers and Selected Sales Leaders really made the night extra entertaining and along with the sounds from Spirit of 67, the party went all through the night.
