As FortuneCare continues to achieve significant milestones of being one of the emerging leaders in the HMO industry, election of Mr. J. Antonio A. Cabangon, Jr. as the Chairman of the Board along with Dr. Ramon L. Sin as Vice Chairman has been made. Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon-Chua, Ph.D. is the Chairman Emeritus (vice Msgr. Josefino S. Ramirez).

The former EVP and General Manager, Ms. Dorothea J. Sibal was also elected as President. The announcement was made during the Special Stockholders and Board of Directors meeting last October 27, 2009. Having these brilliant minds in one company would certainly ensure the continued success of Fortune Medicare, Inc.

Ms. Sibal, the new President, has been in the insurance industry for almost four decades where she spent eighteen years of her significant experience in the Insurance Commission and twenty years in the ALC Group of Companies. In 2003, she was assigned in Fortune Care as Executive Assistant to the President and then later on as EVP and General Manager.

With the new President at the helm of company operations, vital undertakings that focus on raising the bar on service delivery and re-defining the new brand for the company will be the main thrust in the coming years. This will also entail understanding, translating and re-aligning customer service requirements into FortuneCare’s new service standards. With her hands-on management style, FortuneCare’s success in the approaching years will be inevitable.
